Understanding Your Statement

Please see below some frequently asked questions regarding monthly statements. For additional questions, you may contact the Accounting Department at (858) 756-1174 or [email protected]

Monthly Statements

What is on my monthly statement?

Once a month the RSF Association sends a statement that could include the following: Golf Club dues, Golf-Pro Shop charges, Ranch Clubhouse Restaurant charges, annual owed Tennis Club dues, Tennis Club clinics, lessons or any reciprocal club charges, annual owed HOA assessment fees, or building fines.

How and when will I receive my monthly statement?

The Association mails out and emails statements by the fifth working day of each month. The statement will reflect all activity from the prior month. Additionally, anything you may have charged to your member account at either the Golf or Tennis Club will also be reflected on your statement. Statements are sent to the mailing address on file, or Members may enroll in paperless billing by emailing [email protected] with your name and member number.

Where do I pay my statement?

Payments may be dropped at the Association office, 17022 Avenida de Acacias, or mailed to PO Box A, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067.

Property Assessments

How are assessments calculated?

Assessments are based on the County of San Diego assessed property value for fiscal year 2017-2018. Assessments are calculated at 15 cents per every 100 dollars of assessed value. Of that, 12.5 cents will be allocated to General Services, and 2.5 cents will be allocated to the RSF Connect Fiber-Optic project.

When is my assessment due?

Assessments are billed by the RSF Association on a semi-annual basis. The first property assessment installment is due by November 1, and will become delinquent if not received or postmarked by December 5. The second installment is due by April 20, and will become delinquent if not received by May 5.

Can I pay both property assessments at the same time?

Yes. A discount of 3% of the second installment will be given if both the first and second installments are paid in full by December 5.

What is the penalty for paying my assessment after the delinquent date?

  • A penalty of 8% of the first installment will be charged if payment is not received or postmarked by December 5. An additional penalty of 3% of the first installment will be charged if payment is not received or postmarked by April 20.
  • A penalty of 3% of the second installment will be charged if payment is not received by May 5.
  • In addition, an interest rate of 1% per month will be charged on any unpaid assessments beginning July 1.
