Ivan Smith Fundraiser

 PRO TENNIS EXHIBITION FUNDRAISER

The Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club will be hosting a Pro Tennis Exhibition and cocktail party fundraiser for San Diego local tennis player Ivan Smith. Ivan was finishing his senior year playing collegiate tennis in San Antonio, Texas. He was on his way to practice when he was severely injured (paralyzed) in a terrible car accident. He is currently going through extreme rehabilitation and has extensive medical bills. This fundraiser will help Ivan pay for the care he will need for the rest of his life.

Brandon Nakashima a long-time friend, came up with the idea of this Pro Exhibition fundraiser to assist his friend in need. This Exhibition includes drinks and appetizers through out the afternoon while you enjoy a singles re-match of the San Diego Open final between Brandon and Marcos Giron. Then a very exciting doubles match with Brandon, Marcos, James Blake and Zachary Svajda. Here's a short bio on these World Class Professionals.

Many of our RSFTC members may know Ivan from past Pro-Am events at the Club. He is a talented tennis player and a great person.
